No one who is rich and howsoever a dear friend, will share with you secrets of wealth creation.
Your financial advisor, who is often an LIC agent is himself not educated enough to understand financial product, taxation & financial markets, most of the times.
He would suggest you only those investment options, which would earn him fat commissions.
It is immaterial, that this happens out of his own ignorance or is deliberate on his own part.
He is himself probably struggling for earning his own livelihood.
